Walton Foundation works to enable systems change through support for more diverse art, artists, institutions and leaders, and make the arts and art programming more accessible, particularly within schools, universities and museums.

This includes developing a strong pipeline of high-quality, diverse educators, ensuring equitable access to excellent facilities for public charter schools and better integrating arts education into K-12 and higher education.

The Alice L. Walton Foundation is focused on expanding access to coordinated and specialty health services, particularly for underserved communities. The foundation also supports the development and integration of holistic health concepts and services into existing care.

Education, arts and culture, and health and well-being are all important ingredients in living a fulfilling life. The organizations I’ve established focus on providing access to these elements. If the work helps people feel they belong, they’re valued and cared for as a whole person, then we’re achieving our goal.
